Bear Announces His Candidacy

Bear delivered a compelling platform in the Mead Hall, promising improved defenses and an end to sacrifices. Med introduced the party to the town, while a rival candidate, Oliver, emerged to challenge the status quo.

Oliver guided the party to the damaged bee operation. Bear identified two distinct sets of giant tracks, confirming that the raid was a coordinated effort that resulted in the tragic death of Kendrick.

A Grim Forest Discovery

A frantic trapper reported that a search party had been killed in the woods. The party rescued a trapped white fox and followed the trail to the site, recovering supplies and a mysterious flask.

Chwinga Gifts and Charms

The rescued fox led the party to a playful Chwinga. After a lighthearted exchange of snowballs, the creature bestowed several magical icicle charms upon the party before vanishing back into the frozen wilderness.

Parley at the Caves

The party reached a hillside with three cave entrances. They attempted to initiate a peaceful parley, but an angry giant guarding the site rebuffed their efforts, claiming his friends had been harmed.

Combat and Conditional Truce

A polar bear charged the party, forcing a desperate defense. Mira incapacitated the giants while Bear struck down the beast. This turn of events allowed Med and Bear to negotiate a fragile, conditional peace.

Exploring Ancient Pictographs

Inside the cave, the party discovered an animal pen and a tomb containing ancient pictographs of a tribal journey. The images depicted a woman carrying a wand and a pearl, hinting at a forgotten history.

The party agreed to return with mead and the fallen bear as proof of their goodwill. As they departed, a second giant arrived, leaving the party to plan their next steps in Goodmead.
