A dice roller for your next session
Forgot your dice, or need a quick roll while preparing a game? Roll d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 and d100 dice here. Choose the number of dice and a modifier, then roll. The result shows the individual faces and the total. This online dice roller is free to use without an account, for DMs and players alike.
Reading a dice formula
2d6+3 means roll two six-sided dice and add three. For example, rolling 4 and 5 gives a total of 12. Choose Type a formula to enter mixed dice such as 1d8+1d6+4, or open the command guide beside the formula field for supported modifiers and examples.
Advantage, disadvantage and natural rolls
Advantage rolls two d20s and keeps the higher face. Disadvantage keeps the lower face. The result marks the dropped die and adds your modifier to the kept roll. A natural 1 or 20 refers to the d20 face before modifiers: a natural 1 with +4 still totals 5. Whether that means success or failure depends on the rules your table uses.
