Memorable moments

Whose contributions appear in the story?

Recap Raven Moments connects recorded story events with attributed contributions. The useful question is who appears in that record, rather than how many moments the system found.

The headline measure

GM share of attributed Moments

49.6%

Average of eligible session percentages

Share of attributed Moments
GM
49.6%
Players combined
50.4%

Read alongside word share and the actual events. Describing a player’s action can also put the GM in the evidence.

What this measures

For each eligible Memory session with nonzero role-resolved attribution, divide GM-attributed counts by GM plus player-attributed counts, then average. Group and unresolved contributions are excluded. Attribution uses the session evidence; it does not establish who caused an event.

Active quests per campaign

Median · at the snapshot date

2.5 quests

If your party is juggling more objectives than it can remember, revisit the quest log together and agree what matters next. A large log is not automatically a problem.

What this measures

Use sampled campaigns with at least one non-deleted quest record, then count their active quests. Keep zero when all tracked quests are closed; exclude campaigns with no quest records. Count each campaign once. This describes the current quest log, not how many quests began in a session. Exclude completed and abandoned quests.

Open story hooks per campaign

Median · at the snapshot date

12 hooks

A hook is an unfinished story thread, such as a promise, a lead or an unanswered question. Look for something the party still wants to pursue; hooks can overlap quests, so do not add the two totals.

What this measures

Count open story hooks in campaigns with a recorded hook history, then take the median. Each campaign counts once, including campaigns whose recorded hooks have all closed.

Story contributions by speaking time

4 identified player speakers + 1 GM · players ordered by speaking time, not Moment count.

Share of attributed Moments

18.9%

25.5%
Least vocal player

Talking longer does not automatically create more Moments. These are attributed story contributions, not a score for how well someone plays.
