Pillars of play

Does your game match the pitch?

A campaign described as political intrigue can still spend plenty of time fighting. The mix gives you something concrete to discuss with current players and people thinking about joining.

What this measures

Scenes use their duration where available; otherwise they count equally. This is a scene-analysis mix, not a percentage of every recorded minute.

Typical times are medians. The share range covers the middle half of sessions. Per-session timings count classified scenes; gaps outside those scenes are excluded. A combat scene can be just part of a fight.

What this measures

Calculate each session’s time in each pillar from its timed scenes, including zero when that pillar is absent, then take the median across eligible sessions. Scene lengths use individual scenes. Share ranges are calculated separately for each pillar, so their endpoints do not add to 100%.
