Who might welcome more room?
Who carries the conversation, and whose contributions appear in the story? Compare the GM, the most vocal player and the least vocal player using both speaking time and Recap Raven Moments.
Comparing like-sized tables: one GM and four identified player speakers. Both charts use the same sessions and the same people. “Most vocal” and “least vocal” refer to speaking time throughout.

Median session ratio
These shares include the GM. Each eligible session has equal weight, so a longer game does not dominate the result.
| At the table | Speaking time | Moments |
|---|---|---|
| DM / GM | 44.2% | 47.9% |
| Most vocal player | 21.5% | 18.9% |
| Other players | 27.4% | 25.5% |
| Least vocal player | 6.9% | 7.7% |
How these comparisons are calculated
Largest player speaking share. Use sessions with one GM and exactly four identified player speakers, complete role matching, valid speaker timing and Moments coverage. Within each session, divide the longest-speaking player’s attributed duration by all four players’ duration, then take the median. GM speech is excluded from this measure.
Most-to-least player speaking ratio. For the same four-player-speaker cohort, divide the most vocal player’s attributed speaking duration by the least vocal player’s duration within each session, then take the median. Sessions where the least vocal player has zero timed speech are excluded from this ratio only. It is not a ratio calculated from the average chart shares.
Spotlight speaking shares. For each eligible session with four identified player speakers, rank players by attributed speaking duration. Calculate shares for the GM, most vocal player, other players combined and least vocal player, then average each share across the same sessions. Overlapping tracks count as speaker duration, not elapsed recording time.
Spotlight Moments shares. Use exactly the same sessions and people as the speaking chart, keeping the players ranked by speaking duration. Calculate each group’s share of role-resolved attributed Moments within each session, then average. Sessions need a nonzero total. Unresolved and group contributions are excluded.
